Network latency has become a significant challenge for IT professionals. Network applications such as audio and video delivery, as well as bandwidth sensitive mobile applications, cloud computing and storage services are extremely sensitive to network latency. The roll out of new security solutions called Next Generation Intrusion Prevention Systems (NGIPS) and Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) complicate this even further.
